Word Jong as the name suggests is a Mahjong Word Game. Developed by Gameblend Studios, instead of matching tiles, you have to remove letter tiles to form words. It’s a great idea, so if you like both Mahjong games and word games, be sure to try it out.

Hexalot by IWin is a new game that I’d say is similiar to Magic Inlay. The rules are different here as the aim of the game is to fill blank spaces to create bridges so “knights” can cross. All knights must cross over to the other side to win the game. The music in the game is very relaxing. The menu graphics are very good, but the in-game graphics are a little dissappointing.

Water Bugs is the latest game from Retro64. The gameplay is pretty hard to explain and there aren’t many downloadable games like it, but you might have played a similiar game before. The game is easy to pickup and play and has some very detailed graphics.

Beetle Bomp by Twilight Games is a very polished and high quality Zuma/Luxor style game. The graphics and animations are very detailed and the gameplay is pretty smooth. A nice innovation in the game is the cursor that changes color according to what color is being fired. It lets you keep your eyes at the incoming balls instead of having to look down to see what color is being fired next.

Fireworks Extravaganza is a Magic Inlay style game by KaTGames. The nice thing about the game is, as you fill up pieces, you get to see some very pretty fireworks. There are different cities that you can play in, each with a different style of fireworks. The graphics are a little dark, but I guess it has to be that way, in order to let the fireworks really shine.

Bricks of Atlantis by Arcade Lab is a well made brick busting game. The cool (and cute) feature of the game is that there are fish powerups to collect. These fish powerups spawn little fishes that help you when playing the game. The graphics are gorgeous with an underwater atlantis/sunken city theme. If you are a fan of this type of game, you’ll probably love this one.

Gem Shop by HipSoft is a game very similiar to Chuzzle. By matching gems, you fill a gauge to create jewelry for customers. If you take too much time, the customer will be dissatisfied and you will get a lower score. While playing you can collect tokens to buy new kinds of jewelry to create and sell. Its graphics can’t compare to Chuzzle’s on the cuteness factor, but they are still good. The music style is a classic style which you might get bored of quickly, or you might love it.

Memory Loops is a game by Dekovir Entertainment. It is a cross between Zuma and a memory matching game. You have to match the bubbles before they reach the mouth. It is an interesting twist, but I found it a little too hard because the bubbles move faster from time to time. There are some interesting bonuses to pickup. The graphics are polished and very clean.

Magic Match is a color matching game with unique rules. Instead of swapping, you just click and drag to select adjacent matching tiles. There are many additional gameplay elements adding to the fun. The game also has very nice graphics and audio production. If you like Bejeweled, you might like this game. We give it 4 stars!
