Our Review:
This is a great shop management style game from Mystery Studio the makers of Betty’s Beer Bar and Wild West Wendy. In it you make smoothies for customers on a caribbean island. While playing you earn stars which can be used to upgrade your shop. The game has lots of different customer graphics and there are lots of different upgrades you can buy, so it can definitely keep you interested for a while.

Our Review:
This game introduces a new twist to Bejeweled style games in that instead of trying to change the background color of all tiles to gold or something like in Jewel Quest, you have to collect “artifact pieces” by getting them to fall to the bottom. So most of the time you are trying to get a match under the artifact pieces so that it falls downward.
Though it is a nice idea, it doesn’t change the gameplay from other Bejeweled style games much.
The game has some very intense particle effects that kick in when you use special items. The graphics and overall production are pretty good with animated cutscenes in between stages. While the production quality is good, somehow I feel that the game is missing something. I think maybe its the feeling that the game is taking itself a little too seriously to the point that it forgot about being “fun”.
Just compare it with Cradle of Rome and you might agree.

Our Review:
This Breakout style game, while having pretty nice graphics is a little too frustrating for me.
The problem is that it’s hard to see which elements on the screen are actually “bricks” that you need to break. This makes breaking the last few “bricks” harder as you don’t know where to aim.
I found it so hard that I couldn’t finish level 5. From what I did play I didn’t see anything special about the game other than the cool beach effect.
You may fare better.

Our Review:
At first I didn’t expect much from this game .. but after playing for a few levels I became hooked! This game is similar to Feeding Frenzy where you have to eat things to get bigger so you can eat even bigger things. In this game instead of a fish you are a blob of “gray goo” which can eat everything smaller than it. And when I say everything I really mean everything. You start out eating microscopic dirt … and by the end it seems like you’re gonna be able to eat whole stars!
There is a story that keeps you going beginning from how you (the gray goo) were made and the music is pretty relaxing but may feel repetitive after a while.
As for the gameplay, this game brings some new twists to this type of game. For example in some levels there is a goal that you have to reach such as trying to eat a certain amount of something as fast as you can. Another cool innovation is that not all things that are bigger than you eat you, but they can get in your way. The developers have used this to create maze-like levels where at first you won’t be able to reach some parts but as you get bigger you will reach them.
Definitely a good game to try.
Tips:
- Don’t forget that the main game mode is timed, so you will have to keep up your eating speed.
- If you play it a little more casually .. then play the casual mode .. in the casual mode there is no time limit.
- Since the “creatures” usually come out from the edges of the play area, it is a good strategy to move around the edges in a big circle to eat the incoming creatures as quickly as possible.

Our Review:
This is a very impressive tycoon game and it is set in a Fantasy world. In it you have to help the Fairy Godmother’s potion business. Your job mainly consists of checking out what the peasants moods are going to be tomorrow and then preparing to sell the correct potions to them. You do this by buying the ingredients for the potions. You can also do some marketing and hire special helpers. There ’s a lot to do here and you can easily lose hours with this game. The graphics are great and the writing is pretty humorous. Great game!

Our Review:
This game is similiar to Jewel Quest but with some very nice and innovative ideas. In addition to matching pieces and passing levels, you are also taking part in the building of Rome. After each level you are able to construct new buildings each of which provide different advantages. These buildings require resources such as gold to construct. You can get the required resources by playing the color matching part of the game. For example if you match gold coins, you will get gold that you can use to build buildings.
Some of the buildings give you more resources so that you can build more buildings faster while other buildings give you bonuses that you can use in the matching part of the game.
Another cool mechanic in the game is that you can get helper items by matching them. For example if you want a hammer bonus item to destroy a hard to reach block, all you need to do is match some hammers until the “hammer gauge” fills up at which point you will get a hammer bonus item to use.
If you like matching games such as Big Kahuna Reef 2 or Jewel Quest 2 you will most likely love the innovations in Cradle of Rome.

Our Review:
There are 2 modes in this game.
The first mode is called Explore mode. In this mode you click on colored balls (stars) to form a closed loop. You have to try to include as many stars as you can in each loop for the highest score.
In the second mode called chase mode, you click colored balls (stars) in the correct order as given again and again until you reach the end.
I didn’t find either mode much fun, but I imagine some people might like the Explore mode as it does require some thinking.

Our Review:
This game plays very similarly to Granny in Paradise. It has some neat items that allow you to jump and even fly. It is a little more action oriented compared to Granny because of this.
In any case it is a pretty good game for fans of games like Granny in Paradise.

Our Review:
This game is a pretty innovative puzzle bobble type of game. The twist is, when balls are shot, instead of just attaching, they grow into a big cluster of same colored balls that eat into the balls that were previously there. This both helps and becomes an obstacle for you. The aim of the game is to try to release the little fairies that are trapped by shooting at their entrapment barrier. When you release all of them you pass the level. Also you can shoot at falling coins to get extra points.
The graphics and music are very relaxing.
The frustrating thing is that the game still gives you colors that aren’t on the screen anymore. For example if you have only blue balls left on the screen, the game will still give you red, green, pink balls. See the tips below to see how you can make that less of a problem.
Tips:
- Remember that you can use the right mouse button to swap colors
- When you get a color you don’t want, try to make use of it by shooting at coins, glass balls, bombs or the fairies.
- You can get rid balls you don’t wan’t by shooting them straight up and have them bounce back down to the bottom without hitting anything. This can be done only when there isn’t anything in the way.
